Your mission

What will you do?
Analyze functional specifications and business requirements to define testing actions and create comprehensive test plans
Develop and document test plans for applications, following internal standards and procedures
Identify, document, and prioritize defects, clearly describing test cases, steps taken, and expected outcomes in the defect management system
Execute manual functional and non-functional tests in specific test environments, ensuring alignment with test plans and specifications
Run non-functional tests
Conduct integration and end-to-end tests to validate system interactions and complete application flows, ensuring compliance with functional and user experience requirements
Perform ad-hoc and exploratory testing to uncover issues not covered by standard scenarios
Re-test applications after defect corrections to confirm resolution
Assess risks associated with application changes and test the implementation of risk mitigation measures
Prepare detailed test result documentation and update relevant materials as needed
Communicate testing status and progress to the project team
Actively participate in team meetings (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, planning, retrospectives)
Propose and implement best practices to optimize testing workflows
Apply critical thinking to identify potential weaknesses in applications or systems
Estimation & Support Activities
Contribute to effort estimation for testing activities, ensuring efficient and realistic planning of resources and deadlines
Provide support to colleagues during acceptance testing
Investigate reported defects during acceptance testing and assign them to responsible parties, offering additional details as needed
Assist application users when support is requested
Coordination & Training
Coordinate and monitor testing activities within the team when required
Report testing progress to the project team and management
Participate in preparing training materials for new team members and colleagues from other departments
Deliver training to new employees within the team
Additional Responsibilities
Perform any other tasks related to the natural workflow and mission of the position, as required for all specialization levels
What will you bring?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Previous experience in manual software/system testing, preferably in insurance, banking, or enterprise environments
Experience with backend testing, including API validation and database (SQL) queries, is highly valued
Proficiency in designing, documenting, and executing test cases and test plans
Ability to perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory testing
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle
Strong analytical skills for requirement analysis, test design, and root cause analysis
Ability to document test results, defects, and test progress clearly and concisely
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying and reporting issues
Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project needs
Communicates with clarity, empathy, and impact
Thrives in collaborative environments and lifts others up

The monthly salary range for this role is between 9,666 and 16,571 Gross RON. This interval is indicative. The final benefits package will be agreed at the final stage of the recruitment process, taking into account different criteria, such as the level of experience and skills. The final salary will remain confidential, according to the legislation in force and we reserve the right to adjust the offer at any time during the recruitment process.
