Job Description

The Lidar Platform group is responsible for specifying and designing the hardware components of Innoviz's Lidar products, which are complex multidisciplinary systems consisting of electronics, optics, mechanics, Algorithms and SW. The group is the technical authority in hardware system considerations, and concept verification including performance, reliability, and robustness.

We are looking for a hands-on System Technician to help us build, test, and troubleshoot these advanced detection systems.

Responsibilities

• Bring up multi-disciplinary setups, integrating hardware, optics, and mechanical components.
• Run complex system tests and experiments to verify performance and reliability.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment to take precise measurements of sensors and physical systems.
• Build and maintain prototypes to help evaluate new features and designs.

Requirements

• Solid experience with measurement tools and lab equipment (e.g., scopes, meters).
• Python background for basic automation or data tasks.
• Experience with lasers, electro-optics, or sensors - major advantage.
• Self-motivated learner who is detail-oriented and works well within a team.
