Job Description

We’re looking for a System Specialist to join us at Telia.

I’m Johanna Toivonen, Manager, Fulfilment and Inventories, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on developing and managing information systems that support telecom network operations.

What you’ll do:

In this role, you’ll support the development and continuous improvement of business-critical OSS systems while growing toward a stronger developer role.

• Participate in OSS systems development through design, coding, and configuration
• Support the development of system functionalities and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and vendors as part of the team
• Contribute to the development and testing of integrations and interfaces
• Help ensure system functionality and quality in the production environment
• Learn and grow as part of an experienced team toward a stronger developer role

What will help you thrive in this role:

You’ll be a great fit if you’re eager to learn, grow through hands-on work, and collaborate well with others.

• Studies in IT, such as information technology, software engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of programming, such as Java, Python, or similar
• Basic understanding of telecommunications technology
• Willingness to learn new things and develop through practical work
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Professional working proficiency in Finnish is required, along with good English skills
