System Simulation Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Simulation Engineer to join our engineering team and support the development of next-generation electrified powertrains. The final candidate will be responsible for the simulation, analysis, and optimization of Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) performance of electric drive systems, with a particular focus on electric motors, transmissions, and e-drive components.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform NVH simulations and virtual assessments of electric powertrain systems.
• Develop and validate simulation models for electric motors, gearboxes, and e-drive systems.
• Analyse vibration, acoustic, and structural behaviour using CAE tools.
• Support root-cause analysis of NVH issues and propose optimization measures.
• Delivering simulation results on a variety of hybrid powertrains in the context of new or existing vehicles/platforms.
• Ownership on the model development, associated raw data management and control strategy adaption/integration.
• Preparing written and oral presentation material for non-technical audiences, conveying key findings for a variety of tasks to be simulated
• Identifying opportunities where simulation activities could bring added value to other business area

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Automotive Engineering or Computer science.
• Strong background in NVH engineering and CAE simulation.
• Experience with electric motors, e-drive systems, or electrified powertrains.
• Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA), modal analysis, harmonic response, and vibro-acoustic simulations.
• Experience with CAE tools, preferable EXCITE. ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, Actran, Simcenter 3D, or equivalent is a plus.
• Good understanding of mechanical dynamics, structural vibration, and acoustics.
• Well experienced in Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting languages for automation and data processing.
• Fluent Spanish and English communication skills
