Coordination of the overall design / development of electrical axle system for the acquisition / initiation / opportunity phase and product development phase.
Technical decisions
Accept / reject technical solutions of system elements and documentation from int./ext. suppliers
Access to all relevant technical data of sub-project from int./ext. suppliers
Experience and deep knowledge of automotive systems engineering including methods and tools
Experience and knowledge in project management of mechatronic products
Advanced knowledge about the product and its elements in its project context, environment and usage
Awareness of ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 and support FuSaf activities, audits and assessments.
Knowledge of process maturity models e.g. ASPICE
Knowledge of finance
Familiar with quality tool
Required Education & Experience

Well-founded knowledge and proven experience in the automotive area, several years of professional experience in product development & design
Experience in the field of edrive applications, good system knowledge for inverter, motor, gearbox, OBC, DCDC integration…
Experience in testing & validation
Well-founded leadership experience and assertiveness – Specific knowledge in leadership, negotiation techniques, conflict management, moderation & intercultural behavioral knowledge
High customer orientation as well as result and goal orientation
Dynamic, flexible, resilient, assertive and a high degree of creativity
Independent, analytical, structural way of working and communication skills as well as enthusiasm and persuasiveness
Comprehensive additional technical qualifications such as:
Deep knowledge of automotive technology, ideally in the field of X in 1 eAxle technology
Knowledge of the Aspice process in system development and the PEP product development process
Methodological knowledge (FMEA, TRIZ, brainstorming, value analysis)
Knowledge of product liability and warranty in product development

Lead a development team in the field of (electrical) axle systems to achieve project development goals
Lead team to offer competitive solution in quotation project
Responsibility for the timely planning, implementation and documentation of development-related tasks in the project team
Professional manage customer inquiries, expectation and delivery
Interface to the customer, technical reporting internally and externally
Ensuring the production and assembly-ready overall design and creation of installation space and assembly concepts
Coordination of the elaboration of development solutions, taking functional and design aspects into account
Coordination of components and independent management of design reviews and release
Deriving possible optimization measures from calculation and test results - controlling the product design and development in the project
Monitoring of the DVP and its comparison with the project plan
Support in the creation of component specifications and design methods
Support assessment of return parts in the prototype stage and series
Support of quality assurance in the analysis of defects
Independent development of lessons learned and completion of projects, sharing with team
Business trips to customers / suppliers in Germany and abroad
Representation of colleagues in the team
Support with product strategy, benchmark and business development for the global
Support supplier sourcing, product launch, quality problem solving
Manage and optimize R&D cost, coordinate R&D resource
Continuously promote VAVE
