We're seeking an Application Development Service Owner to take full accountability for the end-to-end delivery, performance, and ongoing improvement of our IT application services.

In this role, you will be the single point of contact for the service, ensuring its strategic alignment, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. You'll work cross-functionally to manage the application's full lifecycle, guaranteeing it meets the needs of the business and our customers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Vision: Serve as the bridge between business needs and IT capabilities, defining the application's roadmap and identifying opportunities for future growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the application's stability and performance. You'll set and monitor key metrics, meet service level objectives, and act as the main point of contact for major incidents.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the application's entire lifecycle, from development to retirement, and manage its budget and resources.
  • Risk & Compliance: Identify and mitigate security risks while ensuring the application adheres to all regulations and policies.
  • Collaboration: Facilitate clear communication between development teams, business units, and vendors to ensure alignment and shared goals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two (2) years’ experience working in software development or a similar leadership role in Information Technology.
  • Two (2) years’ experience managing the full lifecycle of software application, from concept to retirement.
  • Two (2) years’ leading or managing a team or acting as a key point of contact for a service or product.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position is located in Tallahassee, FL.
  • The tentative salary for this position is $60,701.62 annually.

SALARY: $57,666.60 - $63,736.68 / annually
