With the strength of the Rakuten Point market, which has surpassed 2 trillion yen in total issuance, we are building the "Rakuten Economic Circle" through service collaboration with Rakuten Group companies and the introduction of cashless settlement services in real stores, which are growing at an accelerated pace.

Position Details
In order to ensure the Rakuten Cash services work stable so that users use our service with safe and confident, we will ask you to work as a system engineer to do service operation and to improve service operation and maintenance itself. Service operation means the necessary tasks necessary to maintain service, such as service monitoring, trouble investigation and management, and regular operation. In order to carry out these operations, it is necessary to collaborate with other departments, such as those in charge of development of back-end, mobile, and other services' operations so the position requires a high level of communication skills. In terms of service operations, as you know, regarding Rakuten Cash and Rakuten Edy, we have to proceed improvement activities daily basis to keep the expanding our services as payment platform. Naturally some members come from abroad, so you can improve their English communication skills.

- Management of service operation business
- Arrange, negotiate each operation tasks from internals / externals (incl. resource managements)
- Promotes activities for troubleshooting and improvement activities
- Improvements of service operation tasks
- Make a plan and Promotion and Managements for improvements for service availability and mandatory task for service continuity
- Discover issues, includes not only tangible but also potential, on our services and improvement activities

Among the employees in the Operation Maintenance Group, there are mid-careers, young graduates in 2023, and there are also foreign nationals. Why This position
Rakuten Edy, Inc. is promoting the multi-cloud integration of its major systems with the aim of building and operating high-availability systems across the company. It will be able to experience operating systems built on public clouds such as AWS and GCP as well as Rakuten Group's private cloud.
