The Directorate of Deployed-ICT (D-ICT) within the Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) is seeking a System Manager to support critical Command and Control (C2) warfighting networks and deployed ICT capabilities across Defence. The role will coordinate and facilitate sustainment and operational support activities for Deployed ICT (DICT) supported capabilities, including the Deployable Information Environment (DIE), Fleet Information Environment (FIE/FIS), Mission Partner Environment (MPE), and associated deployed network infrastructure across more than 400 nodes and 800 terminals.
Working within a complex classified Defence environment, the successful candidate will support engineering, incident management, change management, logistics, security, maintenance and continuous service improvement activities to ensure deployed ICT systems remain operationally effective, secure and mission ready. The role requires close collaboration with Defence stakeholders, technical teams, vendors and operational users to sustain critical communication and command systems supporting ADF operations.
You are an experienced Defence ICT professional with a strong background in operational ICT sustainment, systems coordination and service delivery within complex or classified environments. You possess experience supporting deployed, tactical, fleet or enterprise network capabilities and understand the operational demands of Defence Command and Control environments. You are confident coordinating incident, change and sustainment activities across multiple stakeholders and can work effectively within fast-paced operational settings where reliability, responsiveness and attention to detail are critical.

Candidates with experience across deployed communications, C4ISR, tactical networks, CIOG/JCG environments, fleet ICT, or Defence operational support functions will be highly regarded. An active Defence security clearance (NV1 minimum, NV2 desirable) is expected.
