Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and leadership expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You’ll play a critical role in delivering system design baselines with precision and quality. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Application Design Team, System Specification Team, Project Solution Architect, Verification Leaders, and others), lead internal kick-off meetings, review customer input documents, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of delivering system design baselines (SyRS, SyAD, OCD, TMS), but also manage technical workshops with customers and oversee application design deliverables such as SyNR, SyCR, RTI, SyDT, SyAP, Scheme Plans, and System Databases.
We’ll look to you for:
Delivering system design baselines with the desired scope and quality
Leading internal kick-off meetings with system and design teams
Reviewing customer input documents and preparing technical proposals
Attending technical workshops with customers to address key topics
Analyzing verification reports, track survey measurements, and T&C blocking CRs
Managing internal activity plans and ensuring tasks are completed within allocated budgets
Conducting quality reviews for each delivery
Ensuring compliance with Alstom engineering processes

B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the rail signalling domain
Proven experience completing at least one design cycle for a signalling project
Clear understanding of signal engineering processes
Experience designing interlocking schemes, aspect charts, and signalling interface plans
Ability to design and configure field devices for signalling layouts (e.g., fouling points, overlap, routes, stations, zones)
Experience interfacing with subsystems such as IXL/ATC/ATS
Knowledge of as-installed baseline integration
Experience in preparing and working with signalling specification documents
Proficiency in system configuration, test procedures, and technical design documentation
Strong communication skills (English – read and write)
Proficiency in MS Office, Windows operating systems, and CAD (reading)
