As a Systems Engineer – WMS, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing IT solutions that drive warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring seamless integration between material handling systems, production supply chains, and enterprise applications.

This role offers a unique opportunity to bridge technology and logistics, enhancing efficiency, minimizing material flow disruptions, and ensuring compliance with traceability and quality standards. You’ll collaborate across supply chain, automation, and IT teams, integrating cutting-edge WMS solutions that support performance, scalability, and innovation in battery manufacturing.

Key Responsibility Areas

Manufacturing Warehouse Management IT Operations:

• Configure Dassault DELMIA Apriso MOM WMS for battery manufacturing workflows.
• Be proactively involved in WMS solution design, development, implementation, support, and maintenance.
• Ensure the WMS is configured to represent all warehouse and logistics workflows.
• Collaborate with IT solution architects to translate business requirements into WMS capabilities.
• Play a fundamental role in enhancing WMS and logistics-driven operations.

System Integration:

• Ensure seamless integration of WMS with OT systems, including SCADA, WCS, Automation, and IoT.
• Enable WMS connectivity with IT systems, including ERP, MES, ASRS, and WCS, for real-time data flow.

Project Management:

• Ensure timely delivery and adherence to milestones for manufacturing projects.

Technical Ability:

• Provide technical expertise in development, testing, and cross-functional team engagement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve WMS-related issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Documentation:

• Update and maintain comprehensive functional and technical design documentation.
• Document data workflows between manufacturing systems and enterprise applications.

Training and Support:

• Conduct training sessions and lead workshops for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support WMS system users to ensure smooth operations and optimal system utilization.

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience with WMS solutions (essential).
• Proven ability to configure WMS and integrate with ERP, MES, and OT systems.
• Strong proficiency in C# programming and SQL databases.
• Experience with ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards for seamless system integration.
• 3+ years of WMS experience in battery, semiconductor, life sciences, pharma, or biotech industries.
• Project management expertise in WMS implementation and equipment interface commissioning.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ industry experience, preferably in battery gigafactories, semi-conductor, pharma, or biotech.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills for business-IT alignment.
• Ability to work onsite in Sanand, Gujarat, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
