System Engineer: System Administrator Windows-based + IT Asset Management (Contract for 6 months - Renew)

Key Accountabilities

• Implement and enforce security hardening standards for Windows Servers
• Perform regular security patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop rollback and contingency plans for patching/migration activities.
• Supporting migration for Windows / Linux servers, applications, and services
• Document and standardize patching/migration processes.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for Windows-based systems and data.
• Work with cross-functional teams (security, network, application) to support business needs.
• Provide L2/L3 support for incidents and change requests.

Qualification Required

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in technical support and system administration
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Windows system administration.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration.
• Experience in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Basic understanding of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience in software testing / UAT / LV process is a plus
• Experience in the system/application migration process is a plus
• Experience in ID management and CyberArk is a plus

Soft Skills:

• Ability to identify potential issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement proactive solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to report on project status.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proactive and willing to understand IT standards and procedures
