Key Responsibilities • Provide senior level system engineering expertise supporting design, development, integration, and lifecycle support of range systems, instrumentation, interfaces, and information system architectures. • Lead cybersecurity and information assurance efforts including RMF/JSIG compliance, vulnerability analysis, certification, continuous monitoring, and development of policies, CONOPS, safeguards, and accreditation documentation for classified systems. • Support acquisition project management through development and review of PWSs, RFPs, CDRLs, technical plans, milestone schedules, source selection materials, and program documentation while ensuring alignment with Air Force acquisition and financial management guidance. • Perform advanced system interface and interoperability analyses for range systems and net centric environments; define requirements for frequency scheduling, software modules, system enhancements, and integration with command and control and test range networks. • Lead development of technical documentation, test planning materials, WBS structures, performance reports, and program execution tracking products while coordinating with government personnel, contractors, and engineering teams. Required Qualifications • Recognized industry level expertise in systems engineering, cybersecurity, IM/IT architecture, range systems, or similar technical domains. • Demonstrated ability to independently lead mission critical engineering or cybersecurity activities and advise leadership on complex technical, procedural, or programmatic issues. • Expert knowledge of DoD and Air Force cybersecurity requirements, including RMF, JSIG, software certification, system accreditation, and IM Level II standards. • Extensive experience with system integration, hardware/software evaluation, configuration management, lifecycle engineering processes, and development of technical documentation for high visibility programs. Education & Certification • No minimum formal education required. SME designation is based on exceptional and unique expertise. • DoD 8570/8140 certifications strongly preferred (CISSP, Security+, IAM/IAT level credentials). • Ability to meet and maintain required workforce management training for IM and cybersecurity personnel. Clearance Requirement • Active Top Secret clearance. • U.S. citizenship required.
