About the role:

Welcome to our Field Service Department, Nordic Reactor Services. We are approximately 60 employees who work with service and maintenance of nuclear fuel and systems in nuclear power plants. We provide services that are often carried out on site but also involve our deliveries of tools and equipment. Our customers are nuclear power plants in Europe, Asia, and US, with focus on Sweden and Finland.

The projects have relatively short cycles, and the tasks and technologies often have a more practical than theoretical application. The services we provide typically include a wide range of specialized equipment with a continuous need of maintenance and modifications and sometimes require new tailormade solutions.

You will report to the Manager Nordic Reactor Services Product and Project. You will be located in Västerås Sweden. You will also travel within the role to our customers location a few times per year.

Key responsibility:

  • Participate in technical commercial projects involving electrical and control systems.

  • Internal projects for developing methods and equipment.

  • Technical support for business opportunities and tenders including control functionality/logic.

  • Technical documentation

  • Manage requirements and coordinate software maintenance used in our equipment (.NET, LabVIEW).

  • Ensure product knowledge of our equipment and how to use it.

  • Support maintenance of existing equipment.

  • Technical support at customer site

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in system development projects.

  • Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics or a similar technical field.

  • Knowledge in control and automation engineering

  • Experience in software developing processes, testing, architecture and requirements management.

  • Experience with PLC programming

  • Experience in IT-security and secure control systems

  • Drivers licence

  • Very good English and Swedish language skills
