About the job:
[SAMPLE] BCT LLC is seeking a Policy and Dissemination Support Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess an active TS/SCI with POLY and perform systems engineering functions, including defining and documenting concept of operations, operational/system requirements, and use cases to support system development; performing high-level system design; specifying system/component performance and interface requirements; and developing installation, integration, and acceptance test plans. Continuously assess existing organizational processes and work products to ensure they best facilitate strategic and tactical efforts. Coordinate with customers, project teams, and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements. Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by the product teams.
Required Experience:
Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle (for example, conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning).
Required Education:
Qualified candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Level 0: Bachelor's degree in engineering (computer science, mathematics, or physics) and no experience,
Level 1 Bachelor's degree in engineering (computer science, mathematics, or physics) plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus 1year of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 0 years of relevant experience.
Level 2: Bachelor's degree in engineering (computer science, mathematics, or physics) plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
Level 3: Bachelor's degree in engineering (computer science, mathematics, or physics) plus 10 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.
Degree must be in Engineering or a relevant technical field (for example, computer science, mathematics, or physics).
Salary Range: $80,100 - $206,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, BCT-LLC considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
