Job Description


Jovian Concepts LLC is looking to hire a
System Engineer Level 3 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD
area.


A
current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph is required to be
considered.


Seeking a System
Engineer who has experience working in all phases of the system engineering
lifecycle from concept to sustainment. This includes the ability to
produce documentation and drawing packages as required. The candidate must also
have SA and GOTS product experience. Candidate must be willing to learn
and be prepared to work with a small, mission focused team that frequently
interacts with other teams, users, and customers.

Must Have:

  • Strong SA experience

  • Strong Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky) experience: Installation, Configuration.
    Management, Authentication/Authorization (FreeIPA/Active Directory)

  • Strong Testing and Troubleshooting Skills

  • STE/STN experience: Installation, Configuration and Management in connected and
    disconnected environments

  • Strong GOTS Software experience: Installation and maintenance

  • Ability to create, read and modify scripts (bash/python)

Familiar with:

  • Familiarity with Shared Storage Solutions

  • Virtualization and Containerization experience (Docker/Kubrenetes)

  • Data Flow Experience

  • Familiarity with Ansible and SALT

  • Familiarity with Helm Charts and YAML Files

  • DevOps Experience


Requirements


A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a
Polygraph required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.


  • Six
    (6) years of systems engineering experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree
    in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See
    Note 2)
    from an accredited college or university.


OR


  • (U)
    A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering
    experience (any

    Process
    Area).


OR


  • (U)
    A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a
    related discipline (See Note 2)

    from
    an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering
    experience


OR


  • (U)
    A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline
    (See Note 2) from an

    accredited
    college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering
    experience.

Note 1 – Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics,
Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical,
Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management. Similar or comparable
degrees will be acceptable.

Note 2 - Examples of related disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science,
Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics. Similar or comparable degrees
will be acceptable.
