Job Description

The Systems Engineer is responsible for setting up Clinisys application environments and their migrations. They are an expert in his field of expertise and is the customer's only point of contact during the intervention.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow the instructions of your manager and the project manager in the context of a new deployment.
  • Inform the project manager of his recommendations and possible technical risks.
  • Prepare interventions and associated documents if necessary.
  • Ensure that the CRM tool contains the necessary product licenses in the project and generate the key license file prior to on-site or remote installation.
  • Carry out the tasks / Project Actions assigned to him/her according to the schedule planned by the project manager, while respecting the estimates, and the satisfaction of the client.
  • Technical manager of the assigned tasks.
  • Customer training on-site or remotely.
  • Drafting of intervention reports for each on-site or remote intervention, and transmission of these to the administrative services.
  • Transmit the result and the necessary information to the project manager after each intervention
  • Immediately alert the project manager or one of his managers to problems encountered
  • Ensure that the progress of all project tasks in the CRM tool is correct and up-to-date, that the time spent on your interventions is correctly and recorded according to the defined procedure.
  • Establish and maintain a good relationship with the customer.
  • Attend internal meetings and project meetings, managed by the client – with the project manager if necessary.
  • Participate in the drafting of technical documentation.
  • Propose product improvements and services to the project manager or his managers in order to improve delivery time and product quality.
  • Contribute to the team spirit and actively promote a customer-oriented approach

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge and use of Linux with the use of vi
  • Knowledge, use, and administration of Windows Server
  • Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases
  • Knowledge of the PROGRESS database would be a plus
  • Knowledge of the standards and protocols common in the field: HL7, Hprim, ASTM
  • Ability to synthesize and good knowledge of MS office tools in the context of documentary writing.
  • Network skills and understanding of possible arrangements (Samba, CIFS, sFTP, NFS)
  • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Good level of English
  • Respect for deadlines and targets individually but also as a team
  • Think outside the box and bring new ideas to the table
  • Knowledge of the analytical laboratory environment and related vocabulary would be a plus.

Onboarding

As part of our onboarding process, all new employees will be required to attend / travel to the office on their first day of employment. This requirement is essential for onboarding activities, including the identity verification, completion of necessary documentation, receiving your IT equipment, introductions to key team members, and orientation to Clinisys policies and procedures.
