Requisition Summary:

PACCAR India is hiring a System Engineer (Emission Calibration Engineer) to work in projects for medium/heavy duty trucks.

Job Function / Responsibilities:

  • Engine exhaust level calibration activity.
  • Conduct emission testing and analysis (e.g., Test Cases, Calibration Label Status, Test Reports) and use calibration tools and software to adjust engine parameters such as fuel injection timing, air-fuel ratio, and ignition timing.
  • RCA and solve emission-related issues.

Qualification:

  • B.E./M.Tech in either Mechatronics/Mechanical/Automobile

Required Skills:

  • 3-6 years of related experience
  • Domain: Automotive, Internal Combustion Engines
  • Primary Skill: Emission calibration, Engine development, Exhaust system design, and Emissions testing
  • Prior experience in emission calibration or related fields, such as engine development, exhaust system design, or emissions testing.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems especially in IC Engine and Aftertreatment systems.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with engine operation, emission control technologies, calibration and diagnostic tools techniques are essential.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, which is crucial for analyzing emission test results and identifying areas for improvement
  • Secondary Skills: Quality Center (ALM-QC), MATLAB/Python Scripting.
