Job Description

TITLE: System Engineer
POSITION OBJECTIVE: The system engineer provides technical assistance and coordination to information systems to end users including analyzing user requirements, planning and designing interfaces, coding, testing applications, writing documentation, troubleshooting technical issues and resolving hardware and application problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Management Information System, or related fields. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may apply.
• Prior experience must include: Object-Oriented Programming: VB.Net and/or C#; Database Programming & Management: MS_SQL; and Network Administration
• Preferred knowledge and experience with Grape City Active Reports and Office 365 Administration
• Candidate should have strong communication skills, be an innovative thinker, have strong problem-solving skills, work well in a team environment, and possess strong customer relationship and customer support skills. Individual should demonstrate innovative qualities to explore new technologies, which improve the efficiency of the factory environment.
• Must be flexible and able to multi-task and be able to work within deadlines
• Highly motivated, strong team orientation, attention to detail and well-developed problem resolution and organizational skills
• Work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Additional desirable MCSE skills preferred
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, develop, and implement applications using SQL, VB.Net, and C# as required
• Debug, enhance & maintain current computer system programs running in VB6, VB.Net, and C#
• Help prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) for company software
• Purchase and deploy IT hardware

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
• Inside and outside environments apply
• Manufacturing environment
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
• Subject to noise
