Our work depends on asystemdiagram,draftsmantechnicianwho works within theTechnical Delivery Engineeringteam to support allnecessary creation, updates,modifications, or corrections to systems,network,cloud, andleadershipdiagram and draftsmanneedsmaintained in a central repository, as well as provide field-related support on projects.

Here aSystem Diagram Technicianis involved with the day-to-day activities relating toexamining, interpreting, and visualizingthe engineering team’soperationalviews,system views, capability views,anddata / information views Theseartifacts willgenerate insights,comply withcyber security and national organizational requirementstomaintainsystem authorization anddrive new business processes. TheSystem Diagram Technicianworks with the team to assess and improvedocumentationstandardization and collection processes to prepare standard and ad hocartifactstoassistsenior management withmeeting deadline tasks, anddecision making.
HOW ASYSTEM DIAGRAM TECHNICAINWILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Proactivelymaintainartifactsto answer key questions from stakeholders or personal initiative with an eye fordetailandpresenting graphicalviewsto stakeholders.
Define and document ConfigurationItemattributes,as-designed,and as-builtarchitecturethroughout their lifecycle
Design and document all technical related artifacts to include network diagrams, data flow diagrams, etc.utilizingtools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD
Gathering critical information from multiple stakeholders to specify andvalidategraphical representationsor data extracts usingestablisheddrawing anddocumentationstandards
Evaluating business processes,anticipatingrequirements,identifyingareas for improvement, and developingdocumentation in support of theproject’s overall objectives
Establishing and implementingDepartment of Defense Architecture Framework(DoDAF)compliance standards.
Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Identifyandmodifycomplex contextual errors, reorganize content, and edit graphics, tables, and illustrations.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field of study - preferred
Certifications
ITIL 4 – highly desired
Experience:
8+ years of related experiencesupportingConfiguration Management, Networks,Cyber Securityor Systems Administration teamsproviding technical diagramdrafting services
ImplementingAutodesk AutoCAD standardstotechnical diagrams and documentation
Considerable experiencewith Network Architecture documentation, Business Administration, ProjectManagementor a related field
Demonstratedability implementingVisio diagramming standards for IT/Network/System architecture
Good record-keeping and organizational skills
Security Clearance:

The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $106,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
