You’ll make a difference by:

The Design Engineer is responsible for preparing engineering deliverables for Building Automation Systems supporting global data center projects. The role involves developing control system documentation, engineering databases, controller configurations, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications and engineering standards.

  • Prepare control drawings, point databases, controller architecture, I/O schedules, network layouts, equipment integration drawings, and engineering documentation for Building Automation Systems.
  • Develop Functional Design Specifications, Sequence of Operations, alarm matrices, and control philosophy documents based on project requirements.
  • Support engineering reviews, resolve customer comments, perform engineering revisions, and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with programming, graphics, commissioning, and project management teams to ensure engineering deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Participate in engineering quality reviews, technical discussions, FAT support, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Your success is grounded in:

  • 3–6 Years of relevant experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s / master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.

Preferred

  • Experience in hyperscale or enterprise data center projects.

Technical Skills

  • DDC/PLC Controllers, BACnet/IP, Modbus, AutoCAD, Visio, Excel, HVAC Controls, Chiller Plants, CRAH/CRAC Systems.

Soft Skills

  • Problem-solving, teamwork, communication, quality focus, adaptability, and customer orientation.
