Responsibilities

Serves as a role model of excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice. Major roles of the Clinical Nurse Specialist include those of practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, change agent, and Clinical Guideline Manager. Works with a unit specific patient population.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an Accredited College or University.
  • Minimum (3) years of experience nursing in a clinical area.
  • Licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
  • PREFERRED

  • Effective analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to educate others and serve as a positive change agent.
  • Work Hours:

    7:30AM-3:30PM
