Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking a System Availability and Maintenance Lead - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system availability management and preventive maintenance planning to ensure high operational reliability.
  • Coordinate outage management and lifecycle sustainment activities across DoDIN-connected environments.
  • Establish and monitor uptime targets and maintenance windows to maintain mission continuity.
  • Oversee cross-domain restoration efforts and validate root cause analysis outcomes.
  • Implement corrective actions to minimize recurring incidents and enhance system performance.
  • Provide comprehensive availability reporting to Government stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment of sustainment activities with cybersecurity, configuration management, and operational readiness standards.
  • Develop and enforce performance monitoring standards across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451-System Administrator at the Advanced proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, GFACT
  • Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in leading enterprise system availability and maintenance activities within DoD or Federal environments.
  • Proven experience in coordinating cross-domain restoration efforts and implementing corrective actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish uptime targets and manage maintenance windows effectively.
  • Experience in aligning sustainment activities with cybersecurity and configuration management requirements.
