This is your role. What part will you play?

Assist the System Assurance Manager & Engineers with data analysis and document update of the rail projects (Signalling, Train Control, Electrification and Depot Equipment) within Siemens Mobility Singapore:

  • Familiarize yourself and acquire fundamental knowledge of rail systems including Signalling, Train Control, Electrification and Depot Equipment
  • Learning and applying updates to System Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) documents and processes
  • Undertake data management and process enhancement for the above tasks using any of the available tools such as:
    • KNIME
    • Python
    • Generative AI including Siemens GPT
    • Machine Learning
    • Mendix
    • VBA
    • Power Automate
    • Power Query
  • Build a close relationship with the project teams for a better understanding of the different stages of the projects through day-to day activities and coordination.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

  • Undertaking a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Interest and curiosity in railway operation and systems
  • Self-confident, proactive and meticulous
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Able to understand, analyse and manage large amount of data
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Able to work independently and also a good team player who can work well in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application
  • Knowledge in Python or other applicable programming language for data analytics and process automation will be an advantage.

To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess a Valid Student Pass in Singapore or satisfy the Ministry of Manpower’s Work Holiday Pass (WHP) requirements.
