RSB Automotive Consulting is supporting one of our international clients from the automotive industry in finding an experienced System Architect to join a team responsible for the development of advanced electrified vehicle solutions.
We are looking for a technical expert who will take ownership of system architecture activities, support the definition of complex automotive systems, and coordinate cooperation between multidisciplinary engineering teams. The role combines deep technical expertise, system-level thinking, and close collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
The position is primarily based on a hybrid model from Kraków, however, we are also open to considering experienced candidates working remotely.
Define and develop system architectures for electrified powertrain systems and high-voltage automotive applications throughout the product lifecycle.
Create and maintain system concepts and technical solutions considering performance, quality, cost, timing, and customer requirements.
Analyze customer needs and translate them into system-level requirements.
Coordinate collaboration between System Engineering, Hardware, Software, Calibration, Safety, and Testing teams.
Act as a technical point of contact during discussions with customers and internal engineering teams.
Support troubleshooting activities, perform root cause analysis, and define effective system-level solutions.
Contribute to Functional Safety activities according to ISO 26262, including safety concepts, SFMEA, and FTA analyses.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and knowledge sharing within engineering teams.
Identify technical risks, support mitigation planning, and report system development status.
Participate in technical meetings, customer discussions, and occasional testing activities.
Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive system development, preferably within electrified powertrain, power electronics, or high-voltage systems.
Strong background in system architecture development, system integration, and technical concept definition.
Experience with HV inverter systems, electric propulsion systems, or related automotive technologies.
Proven ability to lead complex technical topics and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with root cause analysis.
Knowledge of Functional Safety principles and ISO 26262 requirements.
Experience in cooperation with automotive customers and managing technical discussions.
Very good command of English; German language skills would be an advantage.
Experience with tools such as Polarion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar is beneficial.
Ability to work effectively in an international engineering environment.
