Job Description

Are you excited about designing and delivering complex telecom solutions in a global environment? We are looking for a customer-facing System Architect to join our team in Osijek, Croatia, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping solution architectures for Tier-1 telecom operators while acting as the technical bridge between customer networks and Enea’s R&D teams.

Role and Key Responsibilities
As a System Architect, you will work closely with customers, engineering teams and project stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of Enea’s telecom solutions in mobile network environments.

Key responsibilities include:

· Lead technical discussions with customers and understand their network and solution requirements.

· Translate customer needs into solution designs aligned with Enea product capabilities.

· Collaborate with internal R&D and engineering teams to define and refine technical solutions.

· Support deployment and integration activities in customer environments.

· Provide technical expertise during solution design, implementation and troubleshooting phases.

· Contribute to architecture discussions related to telecom network environments.

· Support continuous improvement of solution design practices and technical documentation.

Qualifications, Key Skills and Competence

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

· Advanced understanding of networking and routing design principles

· Advanced understanding of mobile telecommunications networks

· Excellent communication skills in English and Croatian, both written and spoken.

· Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive approach

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with storage solutions, hardware platforms or network architectures

· Experience administering Linux systems such as RHEL or CentOS

· Experience working with databases, including administration or migration

· Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware vCloud/vSphere or OpenStack

· Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker

· Knowledge of mobile network architectures including 4G/5G environments

· Experience with security risk assessments in network environments.
