Job TitleSystem Application Engineer

Required Qualifications (must- have)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience in IC industry, preferred FAE and AE
  • Preferred knowledge of high speed and precision product application support for automotive, high speed optical module and robotic related.
  • Strong self‑learning mindset and ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing market directions.
  • Comfortable with frequent and intensive travel.
  • Capable of handling complex customer relationships with professionalism, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
  • Good communication skills in English

We are seeking a System Application Engineer to support and expand our China Business Unit’s system‑level application capabilities. This role is designed to leverage our existing technical strengths while proactively driving two strategic new technology directions

High Speed Optical Communication Systems, including high‑speed optical and electric device applications (e.g., TIA, laser drivers and optical module systems), advanced packaging, and Co‑Packaged Optics (CPO). Robotics and Automated Systems, with a focus on high‑speed signal transmission and interconnect scenarios, as well as motor control applications.

The successful candidate will act as a technical bridge between emerging technologies, internal teams, and strategic customers, enabling faster technology adoption and deeper customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Tracking & Knowledge Transfer

  • Continuously track, study, and evaluate the latest technologies, architectures, and application trends in the target application domains.
  • Digest and translate complex technical developments into clear, practical insights for internal teams.
  • Proactively share application know‑how, technical learnings, and competitive intelligence within the China BU through regular communication and collaboration.

2. System‑Level Application Support

  • Support system‑level application activities in high speed optical communications systems, then eventually extend bandwidth into robotic connectivity and automation systems.

3. Customer Engagement

  • Directly interface with key and strategic customers, understanding their system‑level requirements and technical roadmaps.
  • Respond to customer technical needs in a timely and professional manner, providing application insights, solution positioning, and system‑level discussions
  • Summarize customer feedback and requirements and communicate effectively with internal teams to drive alignment and execution.
  • Build, develop, and maintain long‑term relationships with major accounts, acting as a trusted technical partner.

  • Interest or early exposure to optical communication systems, advanced packaging, or robotics‑related applications
  • Strong curiosity about emerging technologies and system‑level thinking beyond component‑level design.
  • Motivation to grow into a key technical interface role between customers and internal teams.
