The Role and Impact:
Intel is seeking a passionate Systems and Hardware Enabling Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of technological innovation, contributing directly to the development, validation, and optimization of our cutting-edge products. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring Intel's solutions are ready for deployment in the market, driving successful integrations with customers and partners, and ultimately transforming opportunities into production wins. Collaborating across multiple teams, including hardware, software, and silicon design, you will help shape the future of Intel's technology while enabling ecosystem readiness and empowering customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for solutions incorporating Intel products and technologies, ensuring timely market readiness.
- Develop and implement product design, validation, and development tools while resolving technical issues during testing and production.
- Evaluate, design, and create software and hardware tools to validate and optimize product quality and performance.
- Produce technical documents such as product specifications, hardware design guides, application notes, and other collateral.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external silicon, hardware, and software teams to deliver Intel's latest products to the market.
- Partner with customer research and development teams to ensure smooth product integration by addressing factory challenges, delivering training, and providing rapid technical support.
- Perform design reviews, including schematic and board layout analysis, and recommend effective solutions to meet customer-specific requirements.
- Provide technical assistance and solutions for customer issues in complex test environments, both in laboratory and field settings.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering with 6+ years of experience in platform hardware design, application engineering, or Intel IA validation.
- Proficiency in embedded systems and computer system/board designs.
- Hands-on experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, and multimeters.
- Strong expertise in circuit design/theory, electrical components, and their characteristics.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows OS environments, as well as modern scripting languages.
- Technical expertise in requirement definition, design, and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Practical experience in high-speed board design, signal integrity, and power delivery for IA platforms, including validation and debugging interfaces such as PCIe, DDR5x, and USB4.
- Familiarity with x86 boot processes, BIOS, UEFI, and boot loader components, along with hands-on debugging of platform power-on failures.
- Ability to analyze schematics and PCB boards using CAD tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including marketing teams, validation engineers, and customers.
- A fast learner with the ability to work proactively, multitask efficiently, and deliver quality results independently.
