We are seeking a System & Architecture Engineer to define and develop the next generation of high-speed SerDes and PHY technology. In this role, you will:

  • Architecture and System Modeling: Model, design, and optimize system architectures to meet the needs of the business in compliance with external specifications. Define and document system and component requirements for analog, digital and FW teams while consider trade-offs on power, die size, and performance

  • Algorithm Development: Research and develop DSP algorithms and flows, including tuning and validation, to meet system requirements.

  • Simulation & Analysis: Run simulations, analyze system performance metrics, and propose solutions for efficiency improvements.

  • Risk Management and Reporting: Identify potential risks in system design and propose mitigation strategies. Provide clear and concise reports on system status, performance, and issues.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the architecture supports scalability, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in FPGA/ASIC architecture, design and development.

  • Proven expertise in SerDes and PHY design

  • Hands-on experience with system modeling tools (Matlab, Simulink) and DSP algorithm development.

  • Strong understanding of communication standards (e.g. Ethernet, OIF, PCIe protocols).

  • Experience optimizing serial link chip implementations for power, performance, and area.

  • Post-silicon validation and debugging experience.

  • Familiarity with analog design, RTL and firmware development is an advantage.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
