Job Description

The System Analyst Technical Architecture role designs, supports, and improves enterprise technology solutions through architecture documentation, process workflows, compliance reviews, system monitoring, application support, and incident management. It requires software development and technical analysis experience, working knowledge of SQL and APIs, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence. Experience with .NET/C#, AI tools, or GenAI agents is a plus.

This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and process workflows
  • Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements within solution architecture
  • Facilitate workshops, technical reviews, and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and validate solutions
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements for reliability, efficiency, and scalability
  • Assist in planning, road mapping, and analyzing technology components for vendor support and cybersecurity compliance
  • Maintain and support applications, including monitoring product license compliance and developing in-house/vendor applications
  • Report critical issues, troubleshoot client problems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors
  • Conduct incident triage, remediation, root cause analysis, and recommend preventive actions
  • Strengthen business relationships and communications, lead discussions, and proactively raise issues
  • Perform other related and assignments as required

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant full-time work experience or
  • Associate's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant full-time work experience or
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of relevant full-time work experience

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and a minimum of 3 years of full-time relevant work experience in software development, enterprise systems analysis, SQL/API design, application support, and AI/GenAI solutions

Relevant Work Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of software development experience building production web and mobile applications and backend services, preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of business or technical analysis experience supporting enterprise solutions, especially in work and asset management, preferred
  • Working knowledge of SQL for back-end development and/or API design, required
  • Working knowledge of .NET/C# for back-end development and API design, preferred
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools or technologies is a plus. Bringing added value for process improvement and innovation, preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to design or build AI/GenAI agents (e.g., Copilot, Azure AI, or similar platforms) to automate workflows or support decision-making, preferred
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, manage time efficiently, and maintain a high level of organization in a complex environment, required
  • Demonstrated high energy level, understand the vital importance of commitment to excellence, and possess a high regard for the companys values, required
  • Ability to drive operational excellence, support compliance requirements, and enable effective work management through system and process improvements, required

Physical Demands

  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday

Additional Physical Demands

  • The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
