Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
Develop and maintain detailed software
specifications and implement high-quality, scalable, and efficient code using Perl or
other scripting language (e.g. Shell Scripting)
Design, develop and execute comprehensive
unit tests, integration tests and system tests to ensure software meets quality,
security, and performance standards
Provide IT operational
support for Process Control Solutions and participate in a 24/7 support
rotation for manufacturing solutions, as required
Perform ongoing maintenance,
troubleshooting and optimization of software systems to ensure optimal performance,
scalability and reliability
Work in cross‑functional global teams and follow DevOps practices and
methods
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
A degree in Computer
Engineering or a similar field of studies
2+ years of hands-on software development
experience using Perl or other scripting languages in a Linux environment
Proven track record of successfully planning,
designing, and implementing complex systems
Knowledge of C# and Windows operating
systems is considered a plus
Proficiency in agile development
methods
Experience within the semiconductor
industry is a significant plus, although not mandatory
Strong communication skills in English
We are filling this
position through one of our leasing partners. A valid work permit for Austria
(RWR+ Card) or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position. This
position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees of
EEI with a minimum salary of € 3.888,53 (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary
is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your
expertise and skills.
