Job Description

Our client a Commercial bank is looking to hire System Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate and analyze business needs.
  • Evaluate the software packages and recommend ready-made solutions to meet business needs.
  • Design, supervise the development and verify the quality of deliverable such as programs and technical documents.
  • Ensure the development works follow department standards and guidelines.
  • Prepare documentation of the analysis and design works.
  • Assist Team Head to plan and supervises system implementation throughout the whole system development life cycle.
  • Ensure the software development progress is in accordance to the schedule and participates in program development when necessary to meet the predefined development schedule.
  • Provide technical support to maintain the smooth 24 hours round the clock operation (including Disaster Recovery Site support) within the bank.

Requirements:

A) Knowledge, Skill & Attributes

  • Demonstrated ability and programming experience in Java, OpenShift, MySQL;
  • Hands-on experience in one or more is a plus: Oracle, MSSQL, .NET, MOVEit;
  • Experience in whole development cycle mainly in system development, implementation and support.
  • Solid experience and knowledge on various banking applications and architecture design.
  • Experience in workflow design and development, batch job etc.
  • Exposure to multiple computer platforms.
  • Strong sense of teamwork, willing to share experience and expertise with team members.
  • Good command of Cantonese, Putonghua and English.

B) Academic and Professional Qualification

  • Degree holder or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant qualification

C) Training and Relevant Experiences

  • 6 years' experience in application software development and testing of large-scaled application system(s) with at least 2-3 years in system analysis.
  • Experience in lending product approval process / risk calculation is a plus.
