Job Description

Job Title: System Analyst 6

Job Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

  • Install, configure, maintain, and support applications and system components in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Provide technical support for COTS and SaaS applications.
  • Gather and document technical requirements and recommend solutions for application and infrastructure changes.
  • Support Windows Server 2016+ and RHEL 7+ environments.
  • Configure and support applications in Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and remediate application and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Support Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Server, XML, PowerShell, and application monitoring tools.
  • Support SSO technologies including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID.
  • Work with network infrastructure, firewalls, LAN/WAN, and system architecture.
  • Create and maintain technical architecture and system diagrams.
  • Use Azure DevOps for application and infrastructure support activities.
  • Collaborate with vendors, customers, and technical teams to implement projects and system changes.
  • Support containerization and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within cloud environments.

Requirement:

  • 5–7+ years of experience installing and configuring systems and applications on Windows and Linux environments.
  • 5–7+ years of experience gathering requirements, analyzing technical issues, and recommending solutions.
  • Strong experience with Windows Server 2016 or later and RHEL 7 or later.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management Studio, XML, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with Dynatrace or similar application/system monitoring and debugging tools.
  • Knowledge of SSO technologies including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID.
  • Strong knowledge of networks, LAN/WAN, firewalls, and system architecture.
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation and application/server support.
  • 3–5+ years of experience implementing and configuring applications in Azure.
  • Experience with Azure services, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
