Key Roles
Work with business users or / and business analysts to ensure that the system(s) is designed with quality to meet their defined business needs
Document fact-findings and results, design and specify system technical changes to compile technical design specifications
Assure that technical design of system changes and interfaces can align the technology architecture standards and be ease for build and maintenance
Main Responsibilities
Understand functional, migration, security and quality requirements, business process design, workflow design and user interface design
Manage and support the project design repository and system environments
Comply with the technical architecture and technical standards
Fill up Application Classification and Risk Assessment Form for applications
Design and integrate system components: screens, reports, interfaces, automated processes
Design programming work units and supervise programming activities
Design logical and physical databases
Supervise Developers and perform code review
Provide technical support to Developers, and interact with various IT supports
Prepare or/and perform system test planning and execution tasks
Investigate design issues, documenting and analysing change requests, and resolving system test and user acceptance test issues
Develop procedures, training and documentation for computer operations
Support business to develop user manual (System User Guide)
Help train end-users
Perform migration, roll-out, and conversion planning and execution tasks
Monitor the system once it has been converted to production status
Review unit test cases, test data, expected results and log review defects
Review unit test cases based on the test cases review checklist
Sign off the unit testing upon completion of review for all test cases
Supervise or / and perform Application Support tasks
Manage technology stack upgrades
Provide timely Production Support, including proactive system monitoring, prompt incident handling, and ensuring continuous system stability and performance after go‑live.
Perform timely Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues, documenting findings, recommending preventive measures, and coordinating with relevant teams to implement permanent fixes.
