System Administrator 2 needed!

Group: Remote Operations, Tier II

Must have TS/SCI with active polygraph.

Hours: WED-SUN, 10pm- 6am (training M-F 6am-2pm) OR

Sunday - Thursday, 10pm - 6am, day training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-System Administration and Maintenance

-Monitor, manage and maintain servers, operating systems, and key applications

-Apply patches, updates, and configuration changes to systems in accordance with change management procedures

-Perform system health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuining.

-Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues from help desk / Tier I team.

-Diagnose and resulve application, and network related provlems.

-Assist with user account managemnent, permissions and access contrals.

-Install, configure and deploy new system applications and tools.

-Assist in system upgrades, migrations and integrations.

-Document system configurations procedures, and standards.

-Ensure systems adhere to security best practices and organizational policies.

-Help implement and monitor security controls such as antivirus, endpoint protection, firewalls and access managenet.

-Participate in audits risk assessments and remediation activities..

-Use monitoring tools to reach system performance, availiability and capactiey.

-Respond to alerts, incidents and outages, performing root cause analysts and corrective actions.

-Collaborate with IT teams on cross-functional initiatives and preojects.

-Contribute to the developmen t and refinement of IT processes, standards and documentation.

-Provide input on technology selections and system architecture improvements.

Mandatory Skills:

*** IAT Level 1 Certified,

  • Hardware exp, remote assistance, Remote desktop exp

Experience:

HS or GED and 15 yrs

OR

BS and 10 yrs

Approximate salary range: $94,000-$111,000

A variety of factors impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
