Be part of change

As a systems technician for cybersecurity, you will play a central role in the technical implementation of our ATHENE research projects:

• Installation, configuration, operation, and recovery of AI clusters
• Setup, installation, configuration, and operation of systems with very high and highest confidentiality requirements, including structural measures
• Implementation of multi-tenancy in complex system environments
• Implementation of system hardening measures according to current security standards
• Independent collaboration with researchers on technical issues

What you contribute

• Completed studies (either a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience or a Diploma/Master's degree) in the field of IT, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
• Proven experience in handling complex IT infrastructures
• In-depth knowledge of system administration and network technology
• Experience with virtualisation technologies and container solutions
• Knowledge in the area of system hardening and IT security
• Familiarity with common AI platforms and their requirements desirable
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Good knowledge of German and English

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
