Job Description

Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a System Administrator to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems across a secure enterprise environment. In this role, you will manage IT system infrastructure and provide day-to-day operational support, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices. You will also deliver Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, including diagnosing issues, resolving hardware and software problems, and communicating status updates to agency management and internal customers. This position involves configuring, managing, and maintaining Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems, as well as installing operating system software and configuring network components. You will work in a secure environment supporting critical mission objectives.
 
 
Requirements:
• Must have the ability to provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems, including in-depth troubleshooting of complex system issues across environments.
• Must be capable of providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, resolution, and follow-through, including providing detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
• Must possess the ability to manage the daily configuration and operation of IT systems while optimizing system operations, resource utilization, and performing system capacity analysis and planning.
• Must have the ability to provide day-to-day operational support, monitoring, and problem resolution for client, server, storage, network, and mobile devices within the IT environment.
• Must be capable of supporting the escalation, dispatch, and communication of system status and hardware problem resolution to agency management and internal customers, remaining involved until issues are fully resolved.
• Must possess the ability to configure, manage, install, and load Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems, troubleshoot operating system issues, maintain system integrity, and configure network components.
• Must have the ability to implement operating system and network enhancements to improve system reliability and performance while assisting users in accessing and effectively using IT systems.
• Must have 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, OR 10 years of Systems Administrator experience if a degree is not held.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
 
 
Salary Range:
A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
