We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Internal Systems Administrator to work within a team that will manage, optimize, and support the entire suite of business and operational systems used by netsurit. While we are heavily invested in the ConnectWise ecosystem, this role extends far beyond PSA and RMM into typical MSP tools like TimeZest, SmileBack, BrightGauge, CloudRadial, HubSpot, n8n, MS CSP billing, ITGlue, scalepad, QuickBooks etc.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all our tools communicate seamlessly, either through native integrations or custom API/webhook builds. This role requires a strong mix of systems administration, business process understanding, and automation skills to drive operational excellence, reporting accuracy, and extreme efficiency across our entire business.

Key Responsibilities

Business Systems Ecosystem Management

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize the company's core operational platforms, including ConnectWise (PSA & RMM), CloudRadial, HubSpot, QuickBooks, Scalepad, TimeZest, and SmileBack.
  • Oversee Microsoft CSP billing processes and ensure accurate reconciliation between Microsoft, our PSA, and QuickBooks.
  • Manage user access, security roles, and platform settings across all internal applications.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for vendor support regarding internal tooling issues and upgrades.

Integration & Automation Development

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between all business systems natively or via custom API connections.
  • Utilize integration and workflow automation platforms (such as n8n) to bridge gaps between disconnected systems, eliminate manual data entry, and streamline business processes.
  • Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Python, or similar) to automate routine administrative tasks and improve service desk workflows.

ConnectWise Administration & RMM

  • Configure and maintain ConnectWise PSA service boards, workflows, SLAs, ticket routing, agreements, and billing structures.
  • Oversee the ConnectWise RMM environment, ensuring monitoring policies for servers, workstations, and network devices are accurate and actionable.
  • Maintain endpoint compliance, automated remediation scripts, patch management, and health checks.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Administer BrightGauge to produce accurate, real-time operational, financial, and service delivery dashboards.
  • Integrate SmileBack CSAT data into performance reports and executive dashboards.
  • Report on key business metrics: SLA performance, utilization, billing accuracy, client health, and technician productivity.

Support, Training & Collaboration

  • Provide internal escalation support for staff experiencing issues with our internal tool stack.
  • Train internal users on system best practices, new features, and workflow changes (e.g., how to properly utilize TimeZest for scheduling or CloudRadial for client engagement).
  • Work closely with leadership, sales, and finance to identify process bottlenecks and implement technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Deep administrative experience with the ConnectWise ecosystem (PSA/Manage, RMM/Automate).
  • Proven experience integrating and administering a modern MSP tech stack (CloudRadial, BrightGauge, TimeZest, SmileBack, etc.).
  • Strong API integration experience (REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON) and proficiency with automation platforms like n8n, Zapier, or Make.
  • Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
  • Understanding of MSP billing operations, specifically Microsoft 365 CSP billing and QuickBooks integrations.
  • Understanding of networking, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.

Professional Skills

  • A systems-thinking mindset: the ability to see how changing a workflow in one platform impacts billing, reporting, or service delivery downstream.
  • Strong troubleshooting and complex problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail (especially regarding billing and CRM data).
  • Strong communication skills to translate business needs into technical workflows.
  • A continuous improvement, "automation-first" mindset.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / Degree in IT, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Relevant certifications beneficial:
    • ConnectWise Certifications
    • Microsoft Certifications (especially M365/Azure)
    • ITIL or similar service management frameworks

Preferred Experience

  • 3+ years administering internal systems within an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment.
  • Proven track record of building cross-platform automations.
  • Experience managing billing reconciliation and CRM-to-PSA data flows.

Key Success Metrics

  • System uptime and proper synchronization of integrated platforms.
  • Reduction in manual administrative tasks through automation (n8n/scripting).
  • Accuracy of automated billing and M365 CSP reconciliation.
  • Improved service desk efficiency (reduced ticket handling time via TimeZest/Automations).
  • Data accuracy and reliability in BrightGauge executive reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A technically strong generalist who understands both complex systems administration and the underlying business operations of an MSP. You aren't just an RMM tech; you are the architect of the company's internal operations stack, turning a disparate set of tools into a high-performing, unified engine for service delivery and business growth. We acknowledge that a single individual might not have experience with all these toolsets, but the candidate should be able to apply their learnings and evolve their skillset to master any toolset the MSP adopts.
