OneStream System Administrator
Position Purpose
Manage, administer, and continuously improve OneStream financial management platform. Serve as the primary point of contact for system configuration, business-rule troubleshooting, and reporting-related issue resolution while partnering with accounting, finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
OneStream Administration & Support
- Administer and configure OneStream, including security, data loads, integrations, and user access.
- Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, and patches.
- Diagnose and resolve OneStream issues, including (but not limited to) business rules, data integrity, and reporting output issues.
- Serve as the primary support resource for system configuration and troubleshooting.
System Development & Enhancement
- Design and implement system enhancements to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Build, test, and maintain business rules, data validations, and calculation logic.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and automate reporting.
Reporting & Financial Data Management
- Create, maintain, and optimize financial reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of consolidated financial data.
- Support month-end close activities and audit preparation.
- Enforce GAAP-compliant financial controls within OneStream.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with accounting, finance, IT, and ERP teams to align OneStream with enterprise processes, including ERP integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to support evolving reporting and planning requirements.
- Provide user training and support as needed.
Documentation & Project Management
- Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Manage multiple enhancement and support projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on OneStream experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues, interpret business requirements, and translate them into functional solutions.
- Expert-level proficiency with back-end OneStream configuration, business rules, and data integration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; experience training non-technical users.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on schedule (formal PM certification a plus).
- Advanced Excel / Microsoft Office skills.
- Preferred: CPA or other professional accounting designation; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and other consolidation tools (e.g., Hyperion).
- Willingness to travel to various subsidiary locations.
