At Pentland Firth, we have always been a team with a strong focus on people, whether employee or client. As an IT company founded in 2005, we have always built our solutions together with and for the people who use them. This is one of our main driving factors. The creative spirit of our international team has been another primary force which has led us to evolve from offering classic software consulting services to creating our own, in-house ground-breaking IoT solutions that cover hardware and electronics in addition to software.
Our main creations are Whiz-Cart (whiz-cart.com), an intelligent shopping cart and Mouse Over (mouse-over.com), a smart mouse trap. Our products are the results of our drive to push technological boundaries, with customer convenience as the main emphasis.

Furthermore, we were also awarded third place in the competition "Beste Arbeitgeber in der ITK 2025" (category with 50-100 employees). This means that, for the eleventh year in a row, we are among the top 10 tech companies in Germany!
Furthermore, we were also awarded fifth place in the Great Place To Work competition "Bayerns Beste Arbeitgeber 2025" (category with 50-250 employees).
