Program Overview

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 2 — Enterprise Applications Support — delivers engineering, operations, and sustainment of enterprise software applications and IT capabilities supporting more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 ARNG sites nationwide. This task area ensures mission-critical applications remain current, secure, and aligned with evolving ARNG requirements by integrating innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement practices into application lifecycle management.

ECS is seeking a System Administrator - Junior to support the Army National Guard's ENOCS program in enhancing the operational efficiency and security of its IT infrastructure in Fairfax, VA The selected candidate will assist in maintaining server health, deploying patches, and provisioning user accounts under the guidance of senior administrators. This role is pivotal in ensuring system stability and compliance, contributing to the overall mission readiness of the ARNG's enterprise IT environment.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of server systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Support the deployment of patches and updates to maintain system security and functionality.
  • Aid in provisioning and managing user accounts, ensuring proper access controls are enforced.
  • Participate in vulnerability remediation efforts to enhance the security posture of IT assets.
  • Update and maintain system documentation to reflect current configurations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior administrators to support operational sustainment activities.
  • Contribute to the configuration and management of Windows and Linux servers.
  • Assist in the implementation of security measures in line with STIG requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451-System Administrator at the Basic proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): CNDa, A+, Network+
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in system administration with a focus on database and server management
  • Demonstrated expertise in SQL Server administration and security compliance
  • Experience in cloud migration and performance optimization
  • Proven ability to manage enterprise security posture within DoD environments
