Job Description

As a multinational leader in the information technology and electronics industry, our Client is seeking a System Administrator to join their team.

The Role:

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:

  1. Monitor the dashboard and promptly escalate alerts and incidents 24/7.
  2. Manage and resolve ITSM Incident tickets efficiently.
  3. Execute basic and routine tasks such as running batch scripts and generating reports.
  4. Create and handle service and incident request tickets, following documented procedures.
  5. Perform basic system and network administration, including troubleshooting, patching, and alert monitoring.
  6. Collaborate with our technical team to document processes and co-develop the operations manual.
  7. Support process improvements and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering / Information Systems
  2. Minimum of 1 year working experience is preferred.
  3. Possess basic working knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows Server administration and/or equivalent in other platforms.
  4. Ability to perform shift work covering 24 x 7 support operations.
  5. Good command of spoken and written English.
  6. Training will be provided to the candidate without relevant experience but displays aptitude to learn.
  7. Flexible and able to handle work pressure.
  8. Able to carry out multiple tasks.
  9. Takes own initiative to learn and pick up new learning fast.
