BMA is seeking a System Administrator/ Computer System Analyst I to join our location at Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM), WA.
Provide information system administration support to the Digital Mission Training Center for Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) exercises and events.
Provide support to Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming and Low Overhead exercises and events.
Installing software; information system end to end operational testing; installing, configuring interface to systems
Support equipment/facility setup and recovery operations at all Mission Training Facility (MTC) facilities in support of MTC events and exercises.
Install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot both Windows based and RHEL workstations and server class systems in all MTC Facilities
Integrate Windows and Linux computer systems (servers and workstations)
Assist Information Assurance managers with maintaining Risk Management Framework compliance.
Provide input and support to the creation of training related products, along with After Action Review (AAR) activities.
Position requires close customer contact and the ability to work independently and creatively.
Clearance Requirement
There is a Secret Clearance required upon hire for this position.
Required Skills & Certifications
US Secret security clearance required.
Must possess an Information Assurance Technical I (IAT I) baseline certificate in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M (e.g., Security +, CCNA-Security, A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP).
Achieve computing environment (CE) certification (e.g. Server 2012, Win10, VMware, etc.) within 6 months of employment in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Desired Skills & Certifications
Must possess an Information Assurance Technical II (IAT II) baseline certificate in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M (Security +).
3 years of IT experience (i.e., Windows or Linux OS, Servers or Networking).
Experience in Simulation or Army Mission Command Systems preferred.
Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.
High school diploma; Associate Degree in a computer science or systems engineer discipline from an accredited institution preferred.
