Job Description


PLEASE NOTE:

  • It is 100% Onsite position in Suitland, MD or Bowie, MD.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Acts as the primary resource for the operations, maintenance, and optimization of the client content management system using a LAMP stack.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and optimize web applications running on the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) with Drupal as the CMS.

  • Install, update, and configure Drupal core, contributed modules, and themes.

  • Debug Drupal module/theme issues, write custom PHP scripts, and use Git version control to track deployments.

  • Optimize performance using Content Delivery Network (CDN) integrations and caching solutions like Varnish or Memcached.

  • Implement automated backups and disaster recovery plans.


Requirements


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.

  • Experience:
    5–8 years of experience managing web applications on a LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) with a strong focus on Drupal CMS administration.
