Your Opportunity

Queensland Rail is looking for a System Administrator based at Bowen Hills to join the SEQ Operations Roster Centre (SEQ ORC) in a high‑impact, business‑critical role in a temporary contract until 25 September 2026.

In this position, you’ll support and maintain key workforce and operational systems that translate roster planning into real‑time, day‑of‑operations performance. Your work will directly contribute to service delivery and operational outcomes across the South East Queensland rail network.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting and administering complex, operationally critical information systems
  • Providing expert system user support and systems maintenance
  • Conducting data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Working closely with stakeholders and business partners to optimise workforce management, demand and supply solutions
  • Supporting system enhancements, change initiatives, and critical implementations

Shifts:

Monday to Friday - 07:00 to 15:30

About you:

  • Proven experience in business systems administration and user support within a complex operational environment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced setting
  • Well‑developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
