Join us at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Systems Administrator II! In this role, you'll contribute to maintaining and optimizing our enterprise systems and infrastructure. You'll ensure system reliability, implement security measures, and support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Working with advanced technologies including cloud platforms, virtualization, and enterprise applications, you'll collaborate with teams to deliver excellent technical solutions and support.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of experience in enterprise systems administration and infrastructure support, Preferably from Clinical SAS , Clinical EDC or any Clinical Systems
  • • Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • • Advanced technical certifications preferred (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware, MCSE, SAP)
  • • Strong expertise in Windows Server administration and infrastructure management
  • • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • • Experience with backup systems, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • • Knowledge of networking concepts, DNS, DHCP, and security protocols
  • • Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages
  • • Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow for incident and change management
  • • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis
  • • Strong documentation and technical writing skills
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with diverse teams
  • • Available for rotating on-call and emergency support as needed
  • • GxP/FDA regulated environment experience preferred
  • • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
  • SAS based systems maintenance experience
  • • Strong problem-solving abilities
