System Administrator (L2)
to manage,
maintain
, and
optimize
Windows Server environments, Hyper-V clusters, and enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience in server management, clustering, patching, and IIS administration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Server Administration & Maintenance

• 
  Manage and administer
  Windows Server environments
  (2012/2016/2019/2022).

• 
  Perform
  server provisioning
  following standard checklists and best practices.

• 
  Ensure system availability, performance tuning, and capacity planning.

• 
  Monitor system health and proactively resolve issues.

2. Hyper-V Cluster Management

• 
  Configure and manage
  Failover Clusters and Hyper-V environments
  .

• 
  Perform and troubleshoot:

• 
  Live Migration vs Quick Migration

• 
  Cluster resource optimization

• 
  Ensure high availability with minimal downtime.

3. Patch Management & Security

• 
  Execute
  monthly OS security patching
  across standalone and clustered environments.

• 
  Apply patches with
  minimum downtime strategies
  (Cluster Aware Updating).

• 
  Maintain compliance with organizational security standards.

• 
  Perform vulnerability remediation and system hardening.

4. Networking & Virtualization

• 
  Configure and troubleshoot:

• 
  NIC Teaming

• 
  Virtual switches and network configurations

• 
  Ensure
  optimal
  network availability and fault tolerance.

5. Incident & Problem Management

• 
  Handle
  major/critical incidents
  , perform root cause analysis (RCA).

• 
  Troubleshoot performance issues using tools like:

• 
  Performance Monitor (
  PerfMon
  )

• 
  Event Viewer

• 
  Ensure
  timely
  resolution within SLA.

6. IIS & Web Server Management

• 
  Install, configure, and troubleshoot
  IIS (Internet Information Services)
  .

• 
  Implement IIS security hardening such as:

• 
  Enabling HTTPS and disabling weak ciphers

• 
  Configuring request filtering

• 
  Securing application pools

7. OS Migration & Upgrades

• 
  Plan and execute
  physical server OS migrations
  with minimal business impact.

• 
  Perform data backup, testing, and rollback planning.

8. File Transfer & Security Protocols

• 
  Manage and configure secure file transfer solutions:
