Syntax Specialists work directly with property managers to audit utility accounts to identify which accounts qualify for sales tax exemptions. Syntax Specialists also work with utility providers and various state departments of revenue to reclassify the utility accounts to make them sales tax exempt and recover a refund for the previously charged sales tax.
