We are seeking an experienced
SAP Data Migration Consultant
to join our SAP implementation team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and leading data migration activities across SAP implementation projects, with a strong focus on analysis, extraction, transformation, conversion, harmonization, and validation of data using the
Syniti ADMM data migration tool
.
The ideal candidate will possess strong SAP functional or techno-functional expertise and deep business-process knowledge in one or more SAP modules. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, high-quality data migration while closely collaborating with client stakeholders, business process experts, and onsite/offshore project teams.
This position is critical to the success of SAP transformation programs and requires strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Lead and execute
end-to-end SAP data migration activities
as part of SAP implementation projects using
Syniti ADMM
Perform
business process analysis
for assigned SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PM, PP, PS)
Collaborate with client SMEs and Business Process Owners to gather, analyze, and validate data migration requirements
Conduct
data profiling, data quality analysis, and data cleansing
Design, develop, and maintain
Data Migration Strategy, Data Migration Plan, Integration Plan, and Cutover Plan
Extract data from legacy systems, transform and load data into SAP systems
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and auditability throughout migration cycles
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including data mapping, validation rules, and reconciliation reports
Coordinate effectively with onsite, offshore, functional, and technical teams
Track tasks, issues, and progress using
JIRA
, maintaining strong JIRA hygiene
Support data migration test cycles including mock loads, unit testing, integration testing, and business validation
Identify data issues, risks, and dependencies and proactively communicate mitigation plans
Provide guidance and best practices for data governance and migration standards
5–8 years
of SAP Functional or Techno-Functional experience
Participation in
3+ full lifecycle SAP implementation projects
Expert-level business process knowledge in one or more SAP modules:
FI, CO, MM, SD, PM, PP, PS
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Syniti ADMM
, with at least
two end-to-end SAP implementations
Strong experience in
data migration, data quality, data analysis, and conversion planning
5–7 years of business-process experience
Proficiency in
Microsoft SQL
:
Strong SQL query writing skills
Solid understanding of relational databases and table structures
Experience working with large data volumes and complex data models
Experience with
SAP S/4HANA data migration
Knowledge of
SAP Data Services, LVM, or Migration Cockpit
(good to have)
Exposure to
data governance and master data management (MDM)
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work independently and lead data migration workstreams
Experience working in global delivery and onsite-offshore models
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact confidently with client leadership and SMEs
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Team-oriented with leadership capabilities
