Job Description

DATAMARK, Inc. is currently seeking a proficient Sylheti Language Interpreter to join our team. This role involves providing accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation services between Sylheti and English, ensuring effective communication for our diverse client base. As a Sylheti Language Interpreter, you will facilitate understanding in various settings, contributing to superior client experiences and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret spoken communication accurately between Sylheti and English in real-time across multiple settings is a basic need of Sylheti Language Interpreter.
  • Sylheti Language Interpreter to Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines at all times.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and adapt interpretation style to the needs of different situations.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to provide seamless interpretation services.
  • Stay updated with relevant terminology and practices to maintain service quality.
  • Participate in training and professional development activities as required.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Sylheti and English with excellent verbal communication skills is the basic requirement for Sylheti Language Interpreter
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to accurately convey messages.
  • Awareness of cultural nuances relevant to the Sylheti-speaking community.
  • Previous interpretation experience as a Sylheti Language Interpreter is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills.
