Swiss - CNC Machinist (7 Openings)

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting seven seasoned, highly skilled Swiss - CNC Machinists on behalf of a valued client partner in the precision medical device manufacturing sector HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for these Swiss - CNC Machinist opportunities.

We are seeking dependable machinists with hands-on Swiss machining experience who can produce high-precision components, maintain production flow, and hold tight tolerances in a regulated manufacturing environment. These positions require strong attention to detail, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, quality-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Operate Swiss CNC machines in a production environment
• 
  Produce precision components while maintaining quality and throughput goals
• 
  Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and work instructions accurately
• 
  Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, comparators, and gauges
• 
  Monitor tooling wear, offsets, coolant flow, and machine consistency
• 
  Support setups, tooling changes, and changeovers as needed
• 
  Maintain tight tolerances on small, detailed components
• 
  Keep work areas organized and compliant with quality standards
• 
  Communicate quality or production concerns promptly to supervisors

Required Qualifications (Highly Important)

• 1–3+ years of CNC machining experience in production settings
• 
  Direct experience operating Swiss CNC machines strongly preferred
• 
  Strong blueprint reading and dimensional interpretation skills
• 
  Experience inspecting tight-tolerance parts with precision tools
• 
  Ability to monitor tooling, offsets, and production consistency
• 
  Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindset
• 
  Dependable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
• 
  Stable employment history with clear progression; candidates with jumpy resumes will not be considered

Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Valued)

• 
  Experience with Star Swiss, Citizen, Tsugami, Tornos, or Hanwha platforms
• 
  Background in medical device, aerospace, or precision machining industries
• 
  Experience with bar feeders and long-run production environments
• 
  Ability to assist with setups and tool changes
• 
  Multi-machine operation experience
• 
  Exposure to Swiss programming or edits
• 
  Knowledge of ISO-driven or regulated manufacturing systems

  No Swiss machine experience or no transferable precision turning background

HireNow Package

• Base Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
• Openings / Shifts:
  • 1st Shift: 1 opening | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 4 openings | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 2 openings | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Weekend Shift Option: Three 12-hour shifts (work 36 hours, paid for 40)
